Taught Masters
You may experience personal difficulties during the course of your programme and wish to have some time away from your studies. You can apply for a Leave of Absence which would halt your registration for the required time (a maximum of 2 years is allowed). The form and guidance notes can be downloaded from http://www.as.bham.ac.uk/study/support/admin/usefulforms.shtml.
When considering a Leave of Absence application, we recommend that you discuss it with your Course Convenor. Once you have completed the form, this will need to be returned to The Shakespeare Institute Office.
If you require an Extension to the Submission Deadline for your Dissertation, you will need to complete the necessary http://www.as.bham.ac.uk/study/support/admin/usefulforms.shtml Again you should discuss this with your dissertation supervisor. Once completed, the form should be returned to The Shakespeare Institute Office for approval. The form is then sent to the University who will send you an official letter.

When you submit your coursework (excluding the dissertation), please complete and attach a Cover Sheet (pdf 31kb) to the front of the essay.

Disability, Learning Support and Counselling
